Track

Well, my mom was kinda buggin me to post some pics from track... so here they are I ended up 2nd in districts and 6th in reagion. (the top pic is me at 5'2 and the bottom is me at 5'0) There is also a picture from when we went to dinner with charles and mikalea while we were up at regionals. Track is over and im kinda sad but im really glad that everything is starting to wind down. Graduation not this weekend but the next one! -Kortney

CRAP!

Plain and simple, that's what we've got at our house! Who knew (well okay, I can't even act innocent) that our garage was filled w/ so much JUNK???!!!! hahahaha! I swear we are only keeping about 1/4 of the stuff in there. The rest is being thrown out or given to Goodwill. Oh, Myaela, if you're reading this, do you and Jeremy want an old entertainment center? It used to be Jana's once upon a time...so it's been around the block, but it's free! Let me know! Anyways, we have so much crap to get rid of. I think tomorrow or Friday (since Thurs we're going to the Brad Paisley Concert) we're going to rent a truck from u-haul and take a huge truck load to the dump....we truly have at least 1 truck load with the broken chairs we're still storing! UGH! I cannot wait for this all to end.

We still haven't heard any news on our house. I guess no news is good news. Hopefully we'll be able to close by the end of the month, but we're still not sure what we're going to do. I want to be able to paint and hire a professional carpet cleaner to clean the basement carpets. I'm also assuming the place will need cleaned. So we shall see!

Anyways, I should head...I've gotta get to bed so I can get up early to start packing all over again! I'm trying to get all my pictures down in the house, boxed up, and then all the living room stuff boxed. It shouldn't be too hard. I also want to pack up all the baby toys tomorrow and get them in the garage. Well I'll stop talking...hope everyone's having a great day!

another update...

Hey Mikaela, Jeremy and I are up here and are more than willing to help. And then you might actually get to meet him. ;) I can't wait to see your new house! Woo hoo!! Congrats!! But yeah, I'll definitely come help paint and I'll give you color suggestions, for whatever mine are worth, lol. =D

Now for an update. School is going...well, it's going. Not quickly enough, but it'll get there. I've been keeping really busy, actually. Jeremy and I planted our part of the garden at his grandparents house. We are going to have so many peas!! He wanted to do a whole row, so we'll have over 20 feet of peas. I think we're going to have WAY more peas than we'll know what to do with, but I guess we'll freeze a lot of them and stuff. I'm also really sad because the onions we got aren't walla wallas. =( But, he's planning on using them mostly in salsa, so I guess that will work. But yeah. My only concern is that we'll be using a lot of gas this summer harvesting the veggies and getting them ready to freeze and stuff. But, things will work out. We'll just be very busy this summer.

Jeremy and I need to go do our gift registries really soon so we can get enclosures in the announcements. We are planning on Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. We have found some awesome stuff!! I'm way excited. We also need to find housing really soon. I'm really stressing about that, but Jeremy keeps being like "well, it should be really easy because most of the students leave for the summer, so there should be a lot of stuff open." Okay, so the summer might not be hard to find housing for, but what about the school year?!? AACK!! We just need to find something quick before all that's left is the really expensive stuff or the really crappy stuff.

Well, I've got to go to class, so I guess I'll wrap this up. I hope you all are doing well and I'll see you guys soon!! =D

First off--Nice pics Kortney and Cydney. I'm still awaiting Jase's Prom pictures! Anyways, we went and saw the house today during the inspection, so I'm just pre-warning all of you Knight women that I'm going to need some major help cleaning it up! So I'm enlisting your help. I'm sure mom (or grandma to the young readers) has already called most of you and told you about the house! haha...if she hasn't, that's a real surprise. Anyways, we don't know when we're moving in, but we'll definately need to paint and do all of that before we do. So any color suggestions would be nice! Let me know! ~Mikaela

The Worst Day....EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I just had a rough, rough day! I was cleaning my house today, so I put McKay in his crib so I could clean in his room. Well I figured since he was playing well in there, I'd run downstairs and get it vacuumed. When I was done and putting the vacuum away, I heard something break, and then he started screaming. I ran into his room, and somehow he managed to knock down a snow-globe from atop a really high shelf. It shattered all over his crib and his room. He had some of the glitter and water in his eye. I was freaking out because I thought he might have gotten glass in there. Luckily he didn't, and I bathed him and cleaned up the mess.

After this all happened, I was hosting a play-group date at my house for some people from church. I was trying to put Penny back into her "room" (aka the bathroom) when the front door got opened. Normally she doesn't run out, but she did today for some reason. It was raining, and she ran out in front of a car, and she got hit. I was FREAKING OUT! Of course I couldn't do anything cause people were over. THe one good thing is that I believe that woman driving the car saw her and hit the breaks before impact. She didn't run her over or anything, she just bumped her with her car. She's acted fairly normal all day though. She didn't have any blood in her stool or urine, so I hope she's okay.

Tonight, I am getting packed up because I'm going to work for the next few days. Anyways, as I was coming out of the bathroom after loading up all my toletries, I nearly step on Penny, and to avoid doing so, I moved back, and grabbed the railing to the stairs. I fell hard, and I nearly went head first down the stairs. Now I have a sore arm with a huge bruise, and a huge bruise on my thigh. I really need to be more careful. I'm SUCH a clutz!

So yeah, needless to say, it's been a rough day, and I'm ready for bed. Unfortunately I have an hour and a half drive ahead of me.....NOT FUN!
