A Little Update...

Since no one posts anything anymore but Mom and Mikaela, I thought I'd share a little bit of our exciting and nervous news! We are moving to Huntsville, AL. I say this with a bit of sadness, as Scott also received an offer in Tri-Cities. We chose the harder choice because we felt that it was right, but it was and still is VERY hard for me to accept. Oh well, maybe in a few years. We get to fly down next week to look for a house, and to meet with future co-workers. I get to stay in Las Vegas for a bit until I get a job in Huntsville. So if anyone wants to plan a last minute trip to Sin City, I'll be here for a while! That's about all thats going on with us. Life in the limbo stage is never fun, so I'm pretty much a stress freak right now! I think thats probably a typical trait for Knight women though!

CONGRATS! OR CONDOLENCE!

Couple of weeks ago our Ward got a change in Bishopric. Our former Bishop, Alan Hadley, was released and put in as counselor in the Kennewick Mission Presidency. Doug Edmonds (Seminary teacher) was sustained as our Bishop with Chris Eskildsen and Sam Harris as counselors. Sam looks a lot more nervous than Chris!! (Chris was in the old Bishopric!) Hey, how come only Mikaela and I post anything ???

Finally, I am thoroughly enjoying working in the Temple. It is an awesome experience. Just sign up to do initiatory--it makes you realize great blessings--it's one of my favorite places to work!

We just got new additions to our family--and they are already trained--the missionaries (Sisters for now) are living in our basement. I suppose sometime in the two year committment we will have Elders!

Have a great day! Love, Grandma K.

Sin City News!

Still trying to catch my breath. We: Nichole, Mikaela and I flew to Vegas. Kelli had gotten us tickets to Celine Dion! It was super --almost as good as our time shopping, going to the Temple, getting pedicures, movies and good food! We flew in on Mark's BD and left on Sunday after Church (All that is except Nichole, who felt it necessary to be in our ward on Sunday--you'd think that her husband was going to be put in the Bishopric or something!!) So, it is great to have two Son-in-laws serving together in our Bishopric!! Best to each of you Chris and Sam!

We even helped Kelli and Scott get packed to move on Monday. Scott's job will be ending soon and we are all praying that their next permanet address will include Washington state!! What would life be like in Alabama anyway.. Have a good week. Love, Grandma K Ps. This color is supposed to represent how hot Vegas can be!!!
