New Addition
Our family has just been enlarged by two feet. Aubrey Fay Sessanna was born July 28th at 3:04 p.m. She weighed 7#3 ounces and was 20 inches long. Mother and baby are doing great. She sleeps 5-6 hours at a time and rarely cries. She has dark hair ( like her Italian Dad) and huge hands and feet. Just wanted to update everyone. Hope all is well. Love The Sessannas

Hi
As you can tell--it may be simple, but I still don't know what I'm doing!! But, this will be a great sight when I learn how to use it! Talked to Uncle Jim and Aunt ann this morning. I think, now begins the big waiting game. They are keeping Matt sedated because they do not want him to cough, even though they put saline solution in his lungs about every four hours and then suction it and all the debris out. Even though they know that there is some neurological damage, they don't know how much. This is caused from lack of oxygen when his heart stopped twice. They will not be able to evaluate this until they can do a cat scan, and that probably will not happen until the tubes are removed. When they did allow him to "wake up", he seemed to follow them with his eyes and when asked to squeeze their hand, the seemed to respond.
The big concern for right now is the pneumonia. One lung is responding to the antibiotic, but the other it is hard to tell. His heart has 50% damage, Ann said that is about what Uncle Jim has. Danny is retunring home as I type. Uncle Jim and Maia will return probably tomorrow, to S.L. then Uncle Jim will drive home.

WELCOME!
Hello family! Mom (or as some of you may know her as grandma) asked me to put together a blog for our family. I am hoping that this will be a better way to keep in touch with those members who are living far away. ie. Kristopher and Korrine. Blogs are nice because you can post pictures and everything else. Everyone should receive an email as to all the information about blogging. I will just give a basic run down. To post a message on the blog, you will select the "I Power Blogger" icon. Upon doing this, it will take you to a screen where you put in your "username" and "password". After you put in the correct username/password, it will take you to a screen that should have the title of our blog, which is Knight Family. Click on our title, then click where it says "Create new post". This will allow you to type in whatever information you want. You can also click on the "add image" icon. This will allow you to post pictures of your kids, your families, your dogs, or in my case, Milo the cat, or anything else you want. When you are finished, click the orange "publish post" icon at the bottom of the screen! It's that simple! I hope everyone will post from time to time so it doesn't get too boring. Happy Blogging! ~Mikaela
